Evony online game

Evony is an online game set in a medieval world.You start out with one city, and a week to build it up before you can be atacked or attack neighboring cities. The goal of the game is to dominate your area, to be the 'big dog.' This takes time, because the game has limits on how fast you can build things, buy things or transport things. You also have to get people to live in your city, give them work to do and raise and train an army. All the while, making a profit for yourself. You can conquer neighboring areas like swamps, grasslands or forests to give yourself more resources. But you need to scout them out first, because the game doesn't tell you if they are owned by another player. Once you reach a certain level in the game, you are allowed to build more cities, up to a maximum of ten. You can form alliances with other players, and attack other players. Alliances also help in defense against attack. I played this game last summer, but gave it up when school started. It can be very time-consuming. It also has a forum where you can get ideas and insight into how the game is played. This is the first online game I've played, and I really enjoyed the experience. It is probably good for beginning gamers.
